This Thanksgiving I had the pleasure of photographing Shiajan and Billy Constantine's one-of-a-kind wedding in New Brunswick.
The term 'shotgun wedding' takes on new meaning when the wedding party absolutely must go skeet shooting moments before the ceremony. The entire day was filled with unique moments like this, many hilarious and an equal amount touching.
Weddings are crazy; they are events people plan for years which occupy only a few short hours of a single day, most of which they won't remember. Thats where the photographers come in. We record the day, we help keep it on track (when possible) and we do our best to make the wedding party comfortable so they can just be themselves. Some weddings require more of this finesse than others, however the Constantine wedding was the inverse. I went to cover the boys side of the day and was immediately welcomed like a long lost friend. The generous offer of beer came fast and didn't end until I accepted late in the evening.
As always, I tackled this wedding with my photo partner in crime Matt Symes. Below is a selection of some of my favourite images from the day.
