Like many other Canadian's today I got up at the crack of dawn for the Gold medal Mens Hockey game in Sochi.
Unlike the thousands of people I spent the game with though, my back was to the giant screen at Maple Leaf Square in downtown Toronto.
As interested as I was in the game, the real action was right in front of me.
