I am by all definitions a huge Star Wars nerd.
I've read more Star Wars novels than I care to admit, if I had a religion it would be Jedi, I yell "Han shot first!" whenever applicable, I saw The Phantom Menace four times in theatres (I just kept hoping I was missing something...), I also saw The Force Awakens four times in theatres (because it's so good) and I have four Star Wars tattoos... at the moment.
But I must admit, I have never been to a Star Wars Day celebration! For one reason or the other fate has always conspired to make me miss one of my favourite days of the year. But this May the 4th had to be different! For the first time since the disastrous prequel films accosted my eyes over a decade ago, I was excited to be a Star Wars nerd again!
Having entrusted my lightsaber to a German padiwan (hey Max!), I picked up my cameras and headed to a downtown Toronto core far, far away...
