When I'm out shooting I look for a lot of different things, but primarily I search for people who stand out. I either shoot a quick candid or suck up my courage and ask if I can take their portrait. Initially I did the former when I spotted Nick Franchier, but it didn't seem right.
I realized I had to talk to a human who looked so amazing.
Shooting Nick's portrait was a breeze; I really enjoyed the 5 minutes I spent talking with him and I hope to run into him again.
