So I had this idea for my first gallery show last Friday, in a word it was raw.
I chose 6 photos: two shot on film, two street photography and two photojournalism images. I wanted to have them hang, with no frames, like they were in a darkroom.
Artistic, edgy, cool eh? I thought so. RAW!
Only I didn't think about how flimsy large prints would be so when the hanging started, the raw idea began to deflate.
Thats when Ivan showed me what being a pro is all about. Ivan is the official hanger for thepeachgallery and with good reason!
It only took him a few moments of consideration and he had an idea to make my prints look amazing while keeping true to the look and feel I wanted for the show.
I kinda became obsessed with the process, so here's some images of Ivan being a pro as well as a look at my prints which are on display at thepeachgallery currently.
